Dr. Ju Young Lee DDS, MDS, PhD

Dr. Ju Young Lee is an orthodontist at a private practice in South Korea. He has been an enthusiastic lecturer teaching about Temporary Skeletal Anchorage Device (TSAD) and has endeavored to expand the scope of TSADs usage over 20 years. He has shared his experience with TSADs teaching orthodontic residents at four different universities in South Korea. From 2005 to 2015, Dr. Lee taught residents about TSAD as an adjunct associate professor of Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University in California, USA. He has also given TSAD lectures at meetings in France, China, and Japan. His lectures were also provided at World Implant Orthodontic Conference (WIOC) and annual meetings of Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO).

Dr. Lee earned his DDS degree graduating from Dankook University in South Korea in 1986. Then, he received his orthodontics training at Dankook University obtaining MDS degree in 1989 and received his PhD degree in 1997.
Besides TSADs, he is an expert in lingual orthodontics. He is a founding member of Korean Lingual Orthodontic Association (KLOA) and an active member of ESLO and WSLO. With his interest and passion in digital technology used for orthodontic treatments, Dr. Lee founded Korean Society of Digital Orthodontists (KSDO) in 2019 and served as the first president of the organization. He is currently an honorary president of KSDO.
