Dr. Marilia Yatabe received her DDS, Orthodontic Certificate, MS, PhD and Post-doc from Brazil, where she was introduced to the care of patients with craniofacial anomalies. She then joined the University of Michigan for the Orthodontic Craniofacial Fellowship and later as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Her passion for the underserved craniofacial population leads her research interest along with 3D imaging analysis and interdisciplinary work.
