Dr. Mona Hamoda BDS, MSc, MHSC

Dr. Hamoda received her dental degree and master’s degree in Orthodontics from Alexandria University, Egypt. She completed a Master in Health Science degree, at the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, a degree focused on research methodology, while working as a part time clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. Then she started on her PhD journey in addition to completing a 3-year orthodontic residency also at UBC. Dr. Hamoda’s research primarily focuses on the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in adults and the craniofacial characteristics of OSA in children.
