Dr. Nicole M. Scheffler DDS, MS

Dr. Nicole Scheffler received her dental and orthodontic training from the University of North Carolina. She practices full-time in Boone and North Wilkesboro, NC and is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Scheffler developed AOA’s AOB Splint and helped develop Ormco’s VectorTAS miniscrew system. She has lectured internationally and continues to teach at the University of North Carolina about TADs. She is involved in several research projects on anterior open bites, has published many articles and received the Dewel Clinical Research Award for the best clinical research publication in 2015.
