After studying dentistry at Charité Humboldt University Berlin, Germany, Dr. Niels Ganzer finished his specialist training in 2011 at the Specialist Training Center in Örebro, Sweden. From 2011 to 2020, he worked as a senior consultant in public healthcare in Gävle, Sweden. He published several articles based on randomized clinical trials about skeletal anchorage. In 2018 he defended his doctoral thesis at Malmö University, Malmö, Sweden. Since 2021 he has been the head of the orthodontic clinic at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.
