Dr. Niko C. Bock Dr med dent

Dr. Niko Bock is an orthodontist employed full-time at the department of orthodontics, University of Giessen, Germany, where he is involved in teaching, research and clinical practice. He received his orthodontic education from 2004-2007 at the same department under the chairmanships of Professor Hans Pancherz and Professor Sabine Ruf. His major research interests include Class II treatment and its long-term effects as well as the prevention and treatment of white spot lesions, the etiology of oligodontia and intraoral scanning devices. He is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) as well as the German Society of Orthodontists (DGKFO) and the German Dental Association (DGZMK). He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and lectured both nationally and internationally. He was awarded the Beni Solow Award 2018 of the European Orthodontic Society, the Best Paper Award 2017 (University) of the German Orthodontic Society and Best Poster Awards of the German Orthodontic Society in 2016 and 2018.
