Dr. Paul Helpard MS, DDS, BSc, ICD.D

Dr. Paul Helpard is CEO and founder of Corus. He was instrumental in developing the Corus partnership model and was the driving force in launching Corus. He brings both clinical and business expertise to his leadership role at Corus. He began his dental career in 1991 as a dental officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. He subsequently became an orthodontist and has held numerous leadership and teaching positions during his career. He was the principal orthodontist of Shoreline Orthodontics, a 5-office group of practices where he honed his skills as a business leader. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, an examiner for the RCDC, and a member of the Angle Society. He holds an undergraduate science degree from Western University, a dental degree from McGill University and a Masters of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa. He was recently awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 with a Special Citation for Emerging Entrepreneur in Prairies.
