Dr. Phimon Atsawasuwan DDS, MS, MSc, Msc, PhD

Dr. Phimon Atsawasuwan is a tenured full-time Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Illinois Chicago. He received his DDS from Mahidol University, Thailand, MS in Periodontics from Mahidol University and Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, and MSc in Oral Sciences and certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Illinois Chicago, and PhD from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Edward H Angle Society of Orthodontists, and the International Orthodontics Foundation. His interests are interdisciplinary orthodontics, biology of tooth movement and craniofacial growth, and aligner/retainer materials.
