Renato Martins DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Renato Martins took his dental, orthodontic and PhD degrees in São Paulo State University in Araraquara Brazil and was a visiting fellow at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He is the associate editor of the Revista Clinica de Ortodontia Dental Press and is the author of the orthodontic blog “Smartodontics”. He has published over 50 articles and has lectured extensively on biomechanics, orthodontic preparation for orthognathic surgery and lingual orthodontics. Currently he works in his orthodontics offices in the State of São Paulo and serves as a part-time voluntary adjunct faculty in the orthodontics and PhD programs in Araraquara, Brazil.
