Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Brasília, Brazil (1987), Master in Orthodontics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995) and Ph.D. in Genetics (Animal Biology) from the University of Brasília (2006). Member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) as Central and South America representative since 2015. Past President of the Brazilian Association of Orthodontics and Dento Facial Orthopedics (ABOR) for the 2010-2014 quadrennium and Former Scientific Director of the Latin American Association of Orthodontics (ALADO) 2014-2018. Creator and coordinator of the Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics Program of the Federal Court of Justice in Brasilia, Brazil (TJDFT) since 2000. Diplomate of the Brazilian Board of Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics (BBO), Past President of the College of Diplomates of the Brazilian Board of Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics, and former Professor of Orthodontics at the Universidade Paulista (UNIP) in Brasília and at the Brazilian Association of Dentistry (ABO) in Rio de Janeiro. International speaker, having already given conferences in Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia.
