Dr. Samar Adel BDS, MSc, PhD

Dr. Samar Adel graduated from Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, Egypt in 2012 ranking first in her class. She earned the Master’s Degree in 2018, followed by PhD in 2022 from the same University. She earned the first and only PhD Exemption from a public PhD thesis defence in Orthodontics, Alexandria University. She is now a Lecturer of Orthodontics at Alexandria University. She had a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Saint Louis University, Missouri, US in 2023. Since then, she is an adjunct associate professor at Saint Louis University, Missouri, US. She is also a Fellow of the European Dental College, Dubai, UAE. She is an Active member of Egyptian Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic Society and World Federation of Orthodontists. She is a Co-Guest Editor and Editorial board member in “Seminars in Orthodontics” Journal. She has more than 30 publications in international peer reviewed journals and authored chapters in 2 textbooks. She is interested in white spot lesions management, digital orthodontics and clear aligner therapy.
