Sawsan Tabbaa DDS, MS, TMD, ABO

Dr. Sawsan Tabbaa is an Associate Clinical Professor, Research Director, Full-time Faculty Member, and Master of Science in Orthodontics Degree Program Director at Jacksonville University's School of Orthodontics. She is an American Board-certified orthodontist and a Professor Emeritus at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB) School of Dental Medicine (SDM). She previously served as an assistant professor and research program director in the Department of Orthodontics and as chairman of the SDM Voting Faculties at SUNYAB. Dr. Tabbaa has received several outstanding awards for her research, teaching, and role as a caring clinician. These include the Sigma Xi Research Award, the Excellence in Teaching Award, the Public Service Award, the Faculty Fellowship Development Award, the Best Treated Case Award, the Community Service Award, and the Faculty Excellence Award in Scholarship & Professional Activities. Dr. Tabbaa's clinical interests include treating adults and seniors, interdisciplinary treatment, fast orthodontics, and Invisalign©.
