Dr. Seung-Hak Baek DDS, MSD, PhD

Dr. Seung-Hak Baek was trained in the Department of Orthodontics, Seoul National University Hospital and got MSD and PhD from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. He is Professor, Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Seoul National University; Immediate Past President of Korean Association of Orthodontists; and Past President of Korean Cleft Lip and Palate Association. In addition, he is member of Editorial Review Board of Angle Orthodontists, a Peer Reviewer of AJODO, EJO and other journals, and an Associate Editor in Orthodontic and Craniofacial Research and AJODO-Clinical Companion. He received a 2009 CDABO Case Report of the year in Boston AAO meeting and WFO outstanding educator award in 2025 IOC meeting and gave presentations in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2023, 2024, and 2025 AAO meetings. He published more than 200 articles in prestigious orthodontic and surgery journals and around 50 books. His subspecialty is diagnosis and treatment of Class III malocclusion, cleft and craniofacial anomalies and artificial intelligence.
