Dr. Sunjay Suri BDS, MDS, DNB, MOrthRCS (Edin), FRCDC

Dr. Sunjay Suri received his orthodontic training at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India and craniofacial orthodontic fellowship training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. He is Professor and Director of the graduate specialty program in Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, Director of the Burlington Growth Centre and Staff Orthodontist at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. He also has a part time private practice in Mississauga, Ontario. Dr. Suri has received numerous academic and clinical awards in his professional career, including the American Society of Association Executives’ prestigious Gold Circle Award for authoring the Best Scientific Article published by any professional association in North America, the Dr. Prem Prakash Memorial Award for the Best Treated Case presented at the board certification examination to the Indian Board of Orthodontics and several Biomedical Research Awards from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. Dr. Suri’s work has been published in internationally renowned scientific journals including the JAMA Pediatrics, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, The Angle Orthodontist, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, European Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal, Journal of Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr Suri dedicates a large part of his clinical practice and research to the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies.
