Dr. Thikriat Al-Jewair DDS, MBA, MSc, MS, FRCD(C)

Dr. Thikriat Al-Jewair serves as the L.B. Badgero Endowed Chair and Graduate Program Director of Orthodontics at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Dental Medicine. She earned her DDS degree and completed both a certificate and MS degree in Orthodontics from UB. Dr. Al-Jewair currently holds multiple leadership roles, including serving as the NESO representative to the AAO Council on Scientific Affairs, Councilor for the Buffalo Section of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, and member of the AAO Special Committee on Inclusion and Engagement. She is also an Associate Editor for Progress in Orthodontics and has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, conference proceedings, and book chapters. Her research focuses on clinical orthodontic treatment outcomes, dental sleep medicine, and evidence-based orthodontics.
