Dr. Tiago Fialho DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Tiago Fialho holds a DDS degree from the Universidade São Francisco and completed advanced training in Orthodontics, including a Master’s degree from Centro Universitário Ingá and a PhD in Applied Dental Sciences (Orthodontics) from the Bauru School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FOB-USP). He is currently a coordinator and professor in postgraduate orthodontic programs at the Instituto de Odontologia das Américas (IOA), Caxias do Sul, and guest professor at the IOPG – Instituto Odontológico de Pós-Graduação, Bauru. His professional activities combine clinical orthodontic practice with teaching and academic supervision. His main interests include orthodontic biomechanics, skeletal anchorage, orthopedic and interceptive treatments, and evidence-based orthodontics. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several international and national orthodontic journals.
