Mr. Timothy Callinan

Supervisory Special Agent Callinan oversees the FBI Orlando Cyber Program, leading efforts to address both national security and criminal cyber threats. He most recently served as the case agent in the FBI’s Hive Ransomware investigation, which culminated in the group’s dismantlement in January 2023. The operation marked the first time the FBI broadly distributed decryption keys to victims, in many cases before they were even aware they had been compromised. Previously, SSA Callinan was assigned to FBI Miami, where he investigated both criminal and nation-state cyber actors. Before joining the FBI, he served in the United States Navy as an Information Systems Technician from 2010 to 2014.
