Dr. Timothy J. Tremont DDS, MS

Dr. Timothy Tremont is Professor and Section Head of Orthodontics in the Department of Advanced Specialty Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina with a secondary appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a Diplomate and a Director of the American Board of Orthodontics. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, he completed his orthodontic residency and MS degree at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Tremont’s academic focus is on diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical strategies. He lectures nationally and internationally, and regularly provides courses on subject matter relating to orthodontics and orthognathic surgery.
