Dr. Vanessa Morenzi DMD, FICD

Dr. Vanessa A. Morenzi, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is the Chair of the Department of Dental Medicine as well as the Program Director of the Orthodontic Residency Program at Einstein Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Biology from Bucknell University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine followed by a certificate in Advanced Dental Education. After practicing general dentistry and teaching it at Penn, she then went on to receive her Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. She maintained a private practice limited to Orthodontics for many years while also holding post-doctoral faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Cooper University Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial Clinic and Jefferson Einstein Hospital. She has participated extensively in orthodontic research. She is actively involved in a number of professional organizations and has served as a Past President of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists as well as a former member of the Board of Directors of the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. She proudly serves as a Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthodontists.
