Dr. Vinod Krishnan BDS, MDS, MOrth RCS, FDS RCS, PhD

Vinod Krishnan, professor and head of orthodontics at Sri Sankara Dental College, holds a PhD and MDS in orthodontics from the University of Kerala, as well as FDSRCS and M.Orth RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, U.K. He has edited two postgraduate textbooks titled “Biological Mechanisms of Tooth Movement” and “Integrated Clinical Orthodontics.” Currently, he serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of the World Federation of Orthodontists and is a peer reviewer for various international journals. He has published numerous papers in high-impact factor journals. He has edited three issues of Seminars in Orthodontics and received the Young Dentist Researcher Award at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, along with the Best Teacher Award from Kerala University of Health Sciences in 2018.
