Dr. Wanda Claro DDS, MS

Dr. Wanda Claro is a native Californian, now living near Memphis, TN. She practiced in California for over 35 years and is now an associate professor and clinic director for the graduate orthodontic clinic at UTHSC. She received her DDS from UCSF and dual specialty certificates in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an MS in Oral Biology from UCLA. Wanda is a former CAO president, Tulare-Kings County Dental Society President and has been the SAO representative to the AAOF for the past 6 years, as well as PARC liason for the AAOF for 5 years. She is the mother of 3 accomplished adult kids and proud grandmother of 5. She will be retiring from academics end of June 2024 and has had an enriching and fulfilled professional life thanks to our specialty and the AAO.
