Dr. Won Moon DMD, MS
Dr. Won Moon completed his dental education at Harvard and received orthodontic training from UCLA. He served as the “Thomas R. Bales Endowed Chair in Orthodontics” at UCLA and currently is a professor at Ajou University, an adjunct at Kyung Hee University and the ADA Forsyth Institute, the founder of the Moon Principles International Research Institute, and a co-founder of Biotech Innovations. His work has been published in various scientific journals, and he has co-authored seven textbooks, including the Graber’s 7th Edition. He has presented various orthodontic topics in over 55 countries exceeding 650 presentations. He has received multiple awards, including the “Groundbreaking Research Project Grant Award” in 2014, multiple counts of the “Faculty of the Year Award”, the “Lifetime Achievement and Faculty Dedication/Excellence Award” in 2019, and the “Best Mentor Award” in 2022. He is a pioneer in MSE development and the new generation of aligner systems.
