Dr. Yoon Jeong Choi DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Yoon Jeong Choi is a full-time professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Yonsei University Dental Hospital and plays a key role in orthodontic education at Yonsei University College of Dentistry. She earned her DDS in 2002, her Master of Science in Dentistry in 2005, and her PhD in 2009, all from Yonsei University. Dr. Choi completed her orthodontic residency at Yonsei University Dental Hospital and obtained her certification in 2006. During her 2023–2024 sabbatical, she served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, specializing in neonatal and pediatric craniofacial airway orthodontics. Her research and practice interests focus on vertical control, with a particular emphasis on periodontal tissue changes and TMJ health.
