Zeynep Yozgyur DDS

Dr. Zeynep Yozgyur graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2023 and currently practices in private and community health settings in Boston and Providence. She serves as a clinical instructor to dental students on externship and is a peer reviewer for the orthodontics section of the journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. She also mentors pre-dental students from local colleges. Dr. Yozgyur is currently involved in dental public health focusing on expanding access to interdisciplinary oral care. Her professional interest in orthodontics is formed by her routine treatment of conditions resulting from misalignment and the high prevalence of malocclusion within her patient populations. This has shaped her research interests on tools for computer-aided diagnosis of early occlusal development, aiming to implement these technologies in general practice to ensure proper orthodontic intervention. Dr. Yozgyur is excited to participate in this year’s AAO meeting and expand her research and professional interests.
