Dr. Zhihe Zhao is the former president of the Chinese Orthodontic Society and present Chairman of the Faculty Committee of the West China School of Stomatology at Sichuan University. He is a standing committee member of the Chinese Stomatological Association and the former executive committee member ot the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society. He is the editor in chief of the textbook ’Orthodontics‘ for undergraduate students and the deputy editor in chief of the textbook ‘Orthodontics’ for post-graduate students by the Ministry of Health of China. He won First Prize of the Education Ministry Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009 with the titled ‘The systematic research of the biomechanical basic mechanism and its clinical application of the orthodontic tooth movement’ and the First Prize of the Sichuan Province Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016 with the titled 'Basic exploration and clinical application of accelerating tooth movement for improving orthodontic efficiency'. He has published 22 books and 352 articles in orthodontic clinical and basic research field.
