Join Dr. Carla Evans, Toni Magni, Holly Moon, Peter Mah, Andrew Casertano, and Kirt Simmons when they present, Integrating Clinical Informatics into Orthodontic Education (Session 1).* In the first part of this webinar, we will explore the essential yet overlooked role of computers and digital technology used in orthodontics. Despite computers being a highly utilized tool in modern orthodontic practice, informatics is rarely, if ever, comprehensively addressed in educational curricula.

Many practitioners are disappointed about the effectiveness of expensive, "medical-grade" software's ability to handle seamlessly core functions like data sharing and interoperability. Finally, we will envision what an integrated approach to informatics training could look like, contrasting it with the current reality and inspiring a much-needed transformation in we prepare future orthodontists.

*You do not need to attend both Session 1 and 2. You will learn more from attending both sessions, but you will still benefit and learn, if you attend either 1 or 2.
