Understand the concept of becoming CEO of your practice by putting a team of trusted advisors in place to build a successful business model. Information will be presented on current purchase prices, and comparative practice data will be provided to illustrate benchmarks and trends. There will be an extensive conversation regarding practice overhead and reading a cash flow pro-forma, one of the most important documents in a transition. A number of other general topics will be discussed including ways to polish your CV, resources for locating a practice opportunity, types of practice transitions, where to obtain financing, and understanding the basics of a practice valuation.
