The session will discuss the application of MCPP for correction of Class II malocclusion in combination with clear aligner therapy. In addition, it will describe simple and efficient biomechanics for non-extraction treatment using MCPP and ramal plate in Class II bialveolar protrusion patients. Several clinical tips will be provided regarding the application of these appliances, their biomechanics, and the prevention of their side effects. The simultaneous application of TADs and clear aligners shortens the treatment time and improves the facial esthetics during the treatment.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the advantages of applying MCPP and clear aligners simultaneously for the correction of Class II malocclusion.
  • Identify the difference in treatment strategy between Class II and Class II bialveolar malocclusions.
  • Assess the differences in biomechanics between fixed appliance and clear aligner when combined with TADs.
