Clear Aligners in Orthognathic Surgery

Significant advancements have been observed in orthognathic surgery in the past decade. Virtual 3D planning, surgery first, temporary anchorage devices adjuncts are some of the most prominent changes. Another evolution is the orthodontic management of these patients with clear aligners. In order to use aligners in the planning and execution of orthognathic surgery, important steps need to be followed for a predictable outcome.
