Early Treatment: How Early is Too Early

This course will present several genuine considerations for very early (Pre-Phase I) orthopedic/orthodontic treatment that escape the AAO guidelines for the usual early treatment. A limited number of cases and rationale for treatment will demonstrate these concepts.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize what the AAO says about early treatment - and what AAO doesn't say to establish rationale for earlier than early orthodontic treatment.
- Recognize when the earliest treatment could be started; when and why indicated.
- Prep the patient's parents for treatment in the primary dentition.
