Date
January 26, 2024

There is collective agreement on the characteristics of an excellent occlusal finish. We all know that a poorly planned case often is doomed to overly lengthy treatment times or a poor finish. In the esthetic finishing of orthodontic cases, there are several enhancements which can be exercised to improve both the smile and face. An important aspect of this presentation is identifying enhancements that should be performed at the beginning of treatment and those best exercised at the end of treatment to facilitate a more esthetic outcome from Macro- to Micro-esthetics. The purpose of this lecture will be to acquaint you with these enhancements, how and when to apply them, and appropriate scripting to allow discussion of potentially sensitive esthetic elements of facial and smile characteristics.
