This presentation will summarize our current knowledge of this perpetual problem by asking and answering a list of the twelve most frequently asked questions (FAQ) about external apical root resorption caused by orthodontic tooth movement. Supporting evidence from research, literature, and clinical experience will be presented with a focus on clinical management. Clinical cases will be shown throughout the lecture to emphasize key points and highlight the most important discussion areas of root resorption.
