Orthodontics is a facial, skeletal and dental speciality. None of those three areas can be isolated in an Ortho treatment as all of them are in a complete interrelation. The orthodontist is responsible of the facial harmony of the face of the patient.

The presentation will be focused on the correction of our severe skeletal Class III cases in a minimally invasive approach for non extraction orthodontics, avoiding surgery and generating long term stability results. We will discuss the latest innovations, new IP, goal oriented new appliances and auxiliaries to boost our treatment efficiency.

Learning Objectives

  • Control adequate sagital control and accomplish a solid Class I posterior platform in severe skeletal Class III cases with predictability.
  • Outline the steps to simplify and optimize the orthodontic procedure and at the same time reduce the treatment timing.
  • Evaluate the importance of sculpturing the facial harmony through the orthodontic hard tissue management while avoiding orthognathic surgery in severe sagittal malocclusions.
