The Art and Science of Laser Orthodontics

Date
June 25, 2021

You are Artists and Scientists! Orthodontic finishing is more than just lining up the teeth and creating a beautiful smile. Many times after treatment the patient's gingival architecture needs to be addressed. If an orthodontist doesn't do this procedure, over 90% of the patients referred out to have it done never follow through. This lecture is designed to give you confidence in the art and science of laser use in our practices and take our finishes to another level by paying attention to the last detail of finishing.

Learning Objectives:

  • Diagnose, identify and execute precision laser use to expose cuspids, eliminate over grown tissue and cosmetic shaping of gingival margins.
  • Execute numbing procedures, that don't involve a shot, and what after care looks like for each patient.
  • Gain confidence in buying the right laser that fits practice needs.
