The Assistant's Role in Clear Aligner Therapy

Like all procedures and techniques performed in orthodontic practices, it is often the assistants who provide the bulk of the hands-on procedures needed for successful treatment with clear aligners. In clear aligner treatment, it is primarily the doctor’s job to plan the treatment, monitor progress, and make changes in treatment when needed. But it is the assistants who make it happen. In addition, assistants are the ones who most often interact with the patient when it comes to instructions, motivation, problems, and feedback throughout the patient experience.
