The AAO Gold Star/Bronze Star OSO/DSO Partner Program recognizes major employers of orthodontists that are committed to a unified specialty and support the AAO’s mission of advancing the art and science of orthodontics through education, advocacy, and research. Participating organizations must meet a minimum threshold of 20 affiliated orthodontists, with at least 85% AAO membership for Bronze Star status and 95% for Gold Star status.

Note: Participation in this program does not constitute endorsement by the AAO. The AAO does not take a position on practice modalities and supports all orthodontists equally, whether in OSOs/DSOs or private practice.
