OSHA requires employers to provide annual employee safety training to refresh and update safety. In this webinar, the orthodontic team will learn the latest OSHA safety laws and how the laws apply to the orthodontic practice. Webinar attendees will also learn about the Globally Harmonized System for chemical safety and how to read SDS safety information. Jackie simplifies Safety Data Sheet information and how to create labels for secondary chemical containers.

Jackie Dorst is passionate about helping ortho teams to be their Best! She graduated from the University of Georgia in Microbiology and from Clayton State University in Dental Hygiene. She is recognized as a “Distinguished Alumnus” of Clayton State University. Always a science nerd, Jackie provides the latest research and technical information with practical methods for clinical implementation. She likes to review the science and then apply it to the “real world of clinical orthodontics.” During her 20 plus years of speaking and consulting, Jackie has become an international expert on instrument sterilization, dental infection control and safety. Her “Sterilization and Safety Tune-Ups” have inspired thousands of orthodontic professionals.

Jackie has been a featured speaker at the ADA, AAE, AAO, and AAOMS. She is a member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, and the National Speakers Association. She is a clinician graduate of the Academy of General Dentistry and OSHA certified to deliver safety training courses.
