Dr. Ravi Nanda BDS, MDS, PhD

Dr. Ravindra Nanda is Professor Emeritus, Former Head of the Department of Craniofacial Sciences and Division of Orthodontics, University of Connecticut, Farmington, Connecticut, U.S.A. and Adjunct Professor at The Forsyth Institute, Cambridge, Ma. He has authored and co-authored of eleven orthodontic books and more than three hundred scientific and clinical articles in major journals. He just released the book "Principles and Biomechanics of Aligner" co-authored with Drs. Castroflorio, Garino and Ojima. Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of Progress in Orthodontics and an associate editor of Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. He is a Diplomate of ABO. His current clinical and research interests are related to improvements in aligner therapy, judicious use of TADs and acceleration of orthodontic tooth movement. He has been blessed to have given Mershon and Angle lectures at AAO and Sheldon Friel at EOS meetings.
