After graduating from Arlington High School, Dr. Moody headed to Texas Tech University and earned his Pre-Dental degree. He chose at that point to join the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, an interdenominational Christian ministry. He served with Campus Crusade for three years at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Working with college students, he further developed his relationship building skills and love for people. Dr. Moody then returned to Texas and received his dental degree (DDS) and orthodontic degree (MS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. In 2002, he won the study's prestigious C.T. Rowland Award for outstanding new member. Most recently Dr. Moody became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a status attained by only 25% of practicing orthodontists. He is currently a Clinical Professor in the Orthodontic Department of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Also, he and his wife have become passionate advocates for the plight of orphans worldwide. His most recent appointment is Humble Smile Ambassador for the Humble Smile Foundation.
