Dr. Lorenzo Franchi DDS, PhD

Dr. Lorenzo Franchi received his dental education at the Dental School of the University of Florence, Italy. He completed his PhD in Preventive Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Florence in 1997. Dr. Franchi is presently Full Professor, Director of the Postgraduate Orthodontic Program of the University of Florence and Dean of the School of Dentistry at the University of Florence, Italy, He is also “Thomas M. Graber Visiting Scholar”, Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S. He has published extensively in the international literature and he has lectured at international meetings and symposiums. He is currently member of the Editorial Board of the Angle Orthodontist and Associate Editor of the European Journal of Orthodontics and Progress in Orthodontics.
