Every career path is unique and, as director of UNMC Faculty Development, Dr. Linda Love has the privilege of joining faculty as they seek and sort interesting opportunities in academia and life. She is passionate about elevating the success and impact of the health sciences workforce—the humans behind our mission. Dr. Love’s research interest include the evolving efficacy of leaders and teachers, communication in medicine and leadership ranks in organizations, transitions in higher education careers and coaching in academic medical centers.
Dr. Love is a certified Executive Coach, a CliftonStrengths Coach, and a Working Genius Coach. In 2021, she received UNMC’s Inspirational Mentor of Educators Award. She is a founding scholar in UNMC’s Interprofessional Academy of Educators. She holds a doctorate in adult learning and higher education administration, and is an associate professor in the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s department of psychiatry.
