The Assistant's Role in TADs and Lasers
TADs and lasers have become commonplace in the modern orthodontic practice and are a real benefit to our patients. However, unless the doctor is comfortable with the procedures, and the staff has the ability to seamlessly set-up and assist the doctor, everyone's blood pressure rises. Dr. Graham will empower every staff member in attendance with the ability to put their patients and their doctors at ease with a fast-paced, interactive and humorous presentation.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the tray setups necessary for successful TAD and laser procedures in the busy orthodontic office
Identify and anticipate the needs of the doctor regarding anesthesia for both TAD and laser procedures
Outline the necessary pre- and post-procedure protocols to help maximize patient comfort
