Sleep deprivation and Sleep Disorders are getting a lot of attention, and many orthodontists are already playing a role by performing risk assessments and managing these conditions, but technology may be here to help. The current presentation will show some of the latest technological options that may help the orthodontists get more objective answers related to when to refer, if the problem is more nasal or oropharyngeal, and when you are done titrating the mandibular advancement appliance. From apps, to ultrasound scanners, to wearables, this presentation will give an update on current technology and its usefulness.

Perform risk assessment in both pediatric and adult patients in an orthodontic office.
Use radiographic and ultrasound imaging for airway assessment.
Use wearable sensors to help titrate a sleep apnea oral appliance.
