Dr. Jean-Marc Retrouvey DMD, MSc

Dr. Jean Marc Retrouvey is Professor and Leo Rogers Endowed Chair of the Orthodontic Department at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He is also an Honorary professor a the Faculty of Odontostomatology at Ho Chi Minh University. He is one of the principal investigators for the NIH supported research projects. He is principal collaborator in the BBDC (Brittle Bone Disease Consortium) 7701 on dental aspects of the Longitudinal Study of Osteogenesis Imperfecta, principal investigator in the BBDC 7704 on Craniofacial Aspects of Severe OI patients, and co-principal investigator in the BBDC 7707 on Orthodontic Treatment with Aligners in Moderate OI Population. He has published in internationally recognized peer reviewed journals, written five book chapters, one on OI, and edited a textbook on 3D diagnosis. He is a reviewer for several journals. His research interest are on rare disease and the clinical application of deep learning and 3D segmentation fusion and simulation using DICOM to STL data as well as 3D printing.
