Josel Nelson Mucha DDS, MSD, PhD

Dr. Jose Mucha received his DDS from Universidade de Passo Fundo, Brazil, his certification in Prosthodontics from UNICAMP, his MSD in Orthodontics and PhD from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He has been practicing and teaching orthodontics since 1980, was associate professor of the UFRJ Orthodontics Department 1980-1994, and their masters’ program director 1990-1994.Dr. Mucha has been the Chair and a professor of Orthodontics at Universidade Federal Fluminense since 1994. He is a past president of the Brazilian Board of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthodopedics. He has published 90 scientific articles and 8 book chapters, and lectures in Brazil and internationally.
