Most Men Would Rather Deny a Hard Truth Than Face It

Date
May 23, 2022

Class II camouflage comes in multiple colors but is the result really different? This presentation will discuss what we know about what can be accomplished through Class II camouflage in growing individuals. Twenty-one consecutively treated cases from an RCT with the same clinical camouflage approach will be summarized. Potential reasons for the variability will be discussed.

Learning Objectives:

  • Consider the limits of Class II orthodontic camouflage.
  • Consider the large variability in the individual's response to a given similar Class II camouflage approach.
  • Consider to what degree the practitioner-patient communication is reasonable in these cases.
