Dr. Michael Casas DDS, DPaed, MSc, FRCDC

Michael Casas completed his undergraduate dental training at the Faculty of Dentistry of Western University. After a dental residency at The Hospital for Sick Children, he undertook specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto where he also completed a Master of Science in neurophysiology. He returned to SickKids as a staff dentist in 1991 and was appointed Director of Dental Clinics in 2007 and Dentist-in-Chief in 2018. He is Associate Professor, Faculty of Dentistry and Full member of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto. His current research activity focuses on molar hypomineralization, simulation tools for measuring clinician competence and pediatric dental restorative techniques.
