This workshop is designed to help faculty develop, implement and measure the outcomes of short- and long-term Individual Development Plans (IDP). The first virtual workshop, Thursday, June 10 will include presentations by experts in the field, a synopsis by panelists and a question-and-answer session with audience participation. Examples of IDPs for both clinical and tenure track faculty including those seeking competitive research funding will be presented. Participants will be provided with an IDP template that they can use to develop their IDPs.
This program will be of benefit for all individuals who plan to be or are currently involved in academic orthodontics. Mentees and department leaders are encouraged to attend to provide further insights of their mentorship approaches towards setting annual planning process and career goals.
