Dr. Nikhillesh R. Vaiid PhD, MDS, BDS
Professor Nikhilesh R Vaid is the Immediate Past President of the World Federation of Orthodontists and Editor in Chief of Seminars in Orthodontics. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, India and former Professor and Vice-Dean of the European University College in Dubai, UAE. He has a Private Practice both in Dubai and Mumbai, India. He is an active member of the Edward H. Angle Society-North Atlantic component. He's published more than 200 peer reviewed papers and text book chapters and has lectured in more than 50 countries around the world. The important forums at which he has lectured include the AAO Annual Sessions (12 times), the International Orthodontic Congresses (3 times) and many more specialty national and regional congresses. Prof Vaid's current areas of interest are Evidence-Based Protocols, Technology, Aligners and Rx effects and Management Protocols. He is passionate about Bollywood, Modern Indian Art, Cricket, Dry Martinis and of-course Orthodontics. His mission is to encourage global collaboration in the profession through leadership, advocacy and voluntary service towards professional societies.
